A part of Hampshire history will forever be inextricably bound with WWII.
The coast bristled with every type of defense imaginable and the anti – tank blocks at Eastney, so visible but probably so little understood by us who pass by regularly, stand testament to this fact.
This is just a little nod to these concrete blocks, now softened by nature but still standing as a reminder to an earlier time.
